LOCATION

Laganas is the most celebrated tourist resort in Zakynthos, with endless choices in shopping, entertainment, sightseeing or just chilling out on the beautiful, wide, sandy beach of Laganas (9 km long) which is one of the largest in Greece. The water is shallow making it a perfect beach for families with children.

The famous Caretta-caretta sea turtle has used this beach as a place of reproduction for millennia. The beach and the general area are under the supervision and protection of the Greek National Marine Park.

You may watch the turtles swim using one of the small, low-speed boats that tour the Bay of Laganas
