LOCATION

The pretty fishing village of Keri Lake is located on the South Coast of the island tucked into a corner of Laganas Bay. Keri remains one of the most traditional places in Zakynthos and the locals produce excellent quality wine and olive oil; reputed to be the best on the island.

There are traditional tavernas serving local cuisine just waiting to be discovered dotted along the coast and opposite there are beautiful views over the uninhabited Island of Marathonisi where the famous caretta-caretta loggerhead turtles come to nest. Boat trips run to this island which has some very pleasant sandy beaches and also provides the chance to see the turtles in their natural habitat, also there are several coves in the surrounding area for visitors to discover and explore at their leisure.

The surrounding countryside exudes the natural beauty of Greece and is ideal for interesting walks amongst the colourful wild flowers of Zante, lush green olives groves and fragrant vineyards.
