Set on a pine clad hillside, in the midst of the biggest age-long olive groves and only 500m from the sea, Vafias Villas are the ideal spot for relaxing and peaceful holidays.

The Vafias Villas are ideal for rural tourism where guests can join in with agricultural activities i.e. gathering olives in October, harvesting grapes in August and various other activities throughout the year.

ACCOMMODATION

Vafias Villas consist of two traditional stone villas set in beautiful scenic countryside with magnificent views over the sea and surrounding areas.

The villas are both decorated throughout using wood as the theme and have beautifully constructed original furnishings.

They are joined by a stone tunnel and can be rented as a single villa of 270 sqm, villa Vafias, ideal for groups or families up to 14 people.

Villa Marathonisi - is a two storey villa measuring 185sqm and can accommodate 6-8 persons.

The ground floor consists of a spacious lounge area with TV, open fireplace; separate fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, kettle, fridge, oven, hob and all utensils; bathroom with shower and extensive veranda with sea views.

Upstairs are three separate bedrooms all of which are air-conditioned, two with double bed and one with two single beds plus a bathroom with hydro massage bath tub.

Villa Peluso - is a single storey villa measuring 85sqm and can accommodate 5-6 persons.

The villa has a open plan lounge and fully equipped kitchen with coffee machine, kettle, fridge, oven, hob and all utensils; bathroom with shower; separate bedroom with double bed, air-conditioning, a wooden staircase leads to a second balcony bedroom which overlooks the lounge and has a double and a single bed. The veranda leads out to the lawn garden measuring 700sqm.

While staying at the Vafias Villas the owner Ileas will take you through the secrets of wine making, where you can also participate and taste the three different types of wine he produces.

Also the chance to participate in traditional bread making with Dionysia, Ileas mother who still makes the families bread every Sunday.

LOCATION

Vafias Villas are located on the south west coast of Zakynthos in Lithakia, which has one of the oldest villages on the island. Lithakia is nestled between the largest resort of Laganas and the pretty fishing village of Keri Lake.

It is a hidden paradise which still remains traditional and unspoilt from mass tourism. The villas are set in private grounds of 10,000sqm of olive groves and gardens which are entered by electronic gates.
